Notebooks, video and photo cameras, diplomas of honor and briefcases – these are the valuable prizes for the winners of the contest of school compositions on the topic Heydar Aliyev through the Eyes of Schoolchildren…
The contest brought together over 700,000 students of 7-11 grades from more than 4,000 schools throughout the country. The winners were chosen in the following nominations:
“Heydar Aliyev – founder of modern Azerbaijani state;”
“Heydar Aliyev – a great politician and statesman;”
“Heydar Aliyev – the great son of the Turkic world;”
“Heydar Aliyev as a great guardian of education in Azerbaijan;”
“Heydar Aliyev – a prominent Azerbaijani.”
During the ceremony, Minister of Education Misir Mardanov congratulated the winners and wished them success in their studies for the sake of intensive and dynamic development of the country’s future, which, thanks to the strategy developed by the great leader, is continued successfully by President Ilham Aliyev.
Executive Secretary of Yeni Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmedov, for his part, conveyed a happy news to the contest winners. He said that the party leadership had decided to grant them honorary scholarships at the higher education institutions where they would study in the future.
The best compositions and colored pictures of contest participants were collected and published in a book with a refined design, titled Heydar Aliyev through the Eyes of Azerbaijani Schoolchild.
